You can become a member of 510Video.com by clicking the sign-up link in the header of the site. This will take you to our Registration page which is quick and easy to fill out. Membership requires email conformation, so you will need to provided a real email address. Membership is free. As a member you can watch all the videos you want and upload videos too.

How do I edit/cancel my subscription.

Video Playing/Usage Help

Make sure that you have the latest web browser and software updates installed on your system. Use Internet Explorer for the best viewing experience.

Flash Player

You need to have Flash Player installed to view videos on 510Video.com

Click on a video you would like to watch. If, when the page opens, you see no video box in the left side of your page, then you will need to download flash player. You should then see some text, which will read ‘Get flash, Click Here'

This link will take you to Abode.com where you will be able to download flash player free.

To watch a video

To watch videos click on any image on the home page, or go to ‘Watch' in the top menu bar.

A new page will open. Click on the play button in the centre of the video box. You can pause your video, go to full screen mode, forward & rewind once the video has fully loaded.

You can search for videos in the search bar, located top of our home page. Enter your keyword & press return.Go to our ‘Channels' page & browse through our categories.

If you are a member of 510video.com you can add a video to your favourites, make a video featured, join other members groups, add your own groups and much more. View Profile Help for more info.

Email our admin at any time if you require assistance with any of our member features. Please inclued your member user name in any communications. Go to your members page.

How To Upload A Video

Login to your account, go to Upload Page in the top menu bar, click on that link. Now fill out the online form. Video title, description, video tags, the categories of choice. Then on the same page choose the public or priviate video option. Once this is done tick the right upload method.

You have two Broadcast: options,

Public:

Share your video with the world! (Recommended)

Private:

Only viewable by you and those you share the video with. Click on the preferred option.

Then your upload option.

Upload From, Your PC

Or

Remote Server

Once you have made your choice click next. A new page will open for you to upload your video.

If you are uploading from your PC click the browse button, select your video from your computer, then click on Upload. The size of your video, and internet connection will determine how long the upload takes.

You can upload these formats, flv,3gp,mp4,mov,asf,mpg,avi,mpeg,wmv. Please be sure to leave no spaces in your video name. Example: carcrash.flv not car crash.flv

If you have used the Remote Sever Option, fill out the Url box with your video link, from Youtube and press submit. This option will only take a few minutes or so to complete.

My Videos?

These are videos you have uploaded to 510video.com.

Favourites?

These are videos marked by members as favourites, which is then stored in a members account under their favourites. To store videos to your favourites, go to a video and look under the video box. There you will see a link called 'Add to Favourites'  if your are logged into your account, click on this link and it will add that video to your  favourites list.

Video comments?

These are all the comments made by members on videos viewed. To post a comment you must be logged into your account. View a video of choice, at the bottom of that videos page is a comments box. There you can add your review on the video.

Rated videos?

These are videos rated by members on 510video.com Stars ratings given by voters represent how good they think the video is. To rate a video login to your account view a video and click on the stars under the video box. Ratings are 1 to 5 One being poor and five exellent.

Upload a photo to profile?

Login to your account .Click on the image link which will take you to a photo upload tool. 150 x 150 size images are ideal. Jpg Format Only

Make & Joining Groups.

Group creation is based around a topic like Music. Members with interests in that group, contact the group owner to join. The 510 Video member who owns that group can decide weather to allow group membership or not. Communication with other members is done through email. This is a great way of making online friends and sharing combine interest.

Group Creation

To create a group. Go to your account, click on 'Groups' in the header [top] of the web page. Then you will see a link called 'Create Group'. Click this link and you will go to a new page where you can create your new group. Set up your preferences & away you go.

To join a group click on 'Groups' link in the main top of the web page. Scan and select your group. Click on the group image and then click on the, 'Click to join this group' link.

Emails

To view email communiction from other members, login to your account and look to your user name; at the very top of your web page. Next to your username you will see an email symbol. If you have new incoming email, the box will be blue in colour. Members also have the options of editing & sending email from here.
